FAQs
Will I have my own service area or route?
We will work on giving you specific runs that we have, accounting for route optimization and density.
What if I don’t have my own vehicle?
We may be able to help. Betz has Silverado trucks available for lease or buy-out:
2020 Silverado: $800/month lease or $15,000 buy-out price
2021 Silverado: $950/month lease or $20,000 buy-out price
2022 Silverado: $1,000/month lease or $25,000 buy-out price
This will be subject for review and approval.
Do I need to buy all my chemicals ?
Contractors are required to use only Betz’s exclusively branded chemicals. These are the products we’ve been fully trained to use and have refined through over 80 years of experience. By standardizing on Betz-tested chemicals, we ensure consistent quality, customer safety, and reliable results. Restocking will be handled directly through Betz,
What if a service requires extra tools?
You are expected to have basic tools. For specialized tools and equipment, Betz can provide guidance or short-term support.
What about insurance?
You’ll need liability and auto coverage, and WSIB. Betz can connect you with Dejardins to ensure you’re compliant and protected. This includes dental, medical, and retirement savings.
What happens if I make a mistake and a credit is issued to the customer?
If a service error occurs and a credit is warranted to the customer, the contractor will be responsible for the cost of that credit. This ensures accountability and consistency in service quality. Our goal is to minimize these situations through proper training, clear service standards, and support from the Betz team.
How can I grow my business with Betz?
By delivering consistent 5-Star service, you’ll earn customer trust and qualify for more routes. Betz’s 80-year reputation brings you a steady flow of premium clients, while our training, branded products, and ongoing support help you maintain quality. High- performing contractors are prioritized for additional pools, service lines, and growth opportunities.
What will be the payment terms?
Contractors will be required to submit invoices on a biweekly basis. Once submitted, payment will be processed and released within one week after the invoice date. This ensures steady and predictable cash flow while aligning with Betz Pools’ accounting cycles.
